My heart broke a little when I heard that “Dirty Dancing” star Patrick Swayze is battling pancreatic cancer.

I’ve loved him since I first saw him in the cheezy “Red Dawn,” and he was equally great in “Ghost.”

Pancreatic cancer is no walk in the park, but the survival rate is getting better, especially with an early diagnosis.

Let’s hope Swayze can dance his way through this one too.
