I’m going to keep this short. I haven’t slept at all and I’m sick to my stomach about how CJ and I were both portrayed on last night’s episode.
I will first address the fact that spending time with the select group of seniors was truly a blessing. Robert and the other seniors were so fun and full of life. That day gave me such a great outlook on the years to come before they get here.
Second, I have wracked my brain like many of you out there from the second that happened to try and find a “real” reason why CJ was sent home.
It is obvious to see that, although CJ had a hard exterior at times, I believe it wasn’t his time to go. He “got it,” because he has “it,” CJ Miller has “True Beauty.”
On the subject of CJ and I, I want to make something crystal clear. In no way did I ever mean to disrespect CJ Miller. In my invitation to CJ to hang out with the group in the pool, I used the word “boy” and directly after “family.”
As you can see from Monday night’s episode, they made a direct effort to show that we had all been having fun calling each other Boy, Coach, K.I.D., Player, etc., while in the house. But, after watching the show tonight, I can easily see that anyone could have been offended by it.
If I have offended anyone who watched the episode last night I am deeply and truly sorry. Yet, I can assure you, there was nothing else behind it but a joking remark.
In fact, if you were there, it was exactly the opposite. I reached out to CJ numerous times to build a friendship, because I realized CJ’s outlook on life was very similar to mine.
CJ is a very unique and gifted writer, trust me, you haven’t read or seen the last of CJ Miller.
“True Beauty” airs at 10 p.m. Mondays on ABC.

Your comment about not seeing the last of cj is interesting, I was thinking the very same thing last night after the show. Honestly I was afraid you were toast, but was relieved when you weren’t. I d0 like cj as well, i think he definitely had his moments. He seemed to care a lot but on occasion did act out, and as can be seen as the show goes on, most people have had some sort of upset and acted out so to speak. I am sorry that you were disappointed with how last nights show was played. I know we only get so much thanks to editing. I do enjoy watching the show and seeing how everyone responds to different situations. From the abc website people are really upset over the final straw challenge-I personally thought it was a lot better challenge then the litter challenge last week. The bottle final straw challenge really made me thinking “if i was wearing a dress and heals like that, I would be hard pressed to pick that bottle up myself.” I am glad you are still there but I certainly understand your feelings on Cj. Do you think, though, that maybe he figured the show out before he went home?

I think CJ knew the premise from the start. He was too quick to be on the “inner beauty / can’t judge beauty” kick. Not to be cynical, but it seemed a little too perfect.
I felt for you last night Billy, because what I saw during the senior photo shoot was someone concentrating on the task at hand. You seem like someone who really tries to focus on succeeding at a given challenge in life. I don’t think for a second you were THINKING about ignoring your senior partner. Unfortunately, this being reality tv, I can see how editing could take things out of context.
I want to say I think a mistake was made in charging you all with picking wardrobe, coming up with concept and poses for the pictures with the seniors, but NOT letting you take the final step in picking the picture that represents your efforts in the challenge. It kind of “taints” the result in that none of you didn’t have a hand in the final picture choice.
I also want to say the “letting the senior sit down” challenge thing was a bit muddy in it’s conception. Your partner Robert seemed like a strong, fit, healthy man. Had he been 101 years old I’m sure you would have offered him a chair, but being that he seemed so fit and virile I don’t think it would have crossed a lot of people’s minds who should sit first. It’s not like he was frail. I just think a lot of the “challenges” are being made to be “deeper” than life would really bear out.
Good luck with the rest of the show. You seem like a good guy.

I thought it was inconsiderate and rude to leave the senior standing. I know people no longer hold chairs, car doors, take off caps in the house or in presence of ladies. (what a shame), but since you knew you were under scrutiny, it seems you would have made more of an effort to watch the etiquette of the old “age before beauty”. When thinking of a slogan, you dismissed the senior as tho you got what you wanted from him and he could disappear now. In other words, fakey lip service. The blue shirt set off the blonde hair well and you are doing much better than most of the women, and CJ has a huge chip on his shoulder; just looking for a criticism so he could fight. Hang in–we’re watching from Orofino too.

Hi Billy,
I’m really enjoying watching the show with you in it. I probably wouldn’t be as invested as I am if you were not. I went to high school with your mom (who’s a doll!) and I can see that you were raised with principles and ethical values.
As far Monday’s challenge is concerned, people have to remember the wording of said challenge. That you all were responsible for the shoot (costuming, concept, etc.) Nothing was said about it being a joint venture. Having said that, it seemed that everyone but you naturally went to their co-star to get input. Robert seemed pretty lost, but he could have had a conversation with you about having some insights of his own since everyone else was working together. He didn’t seem like he was shy. I understood your focus better after listening to your conversation with Laura about your overthinking and perfection behaviour. Very type A! If you take anything away from this experience, I hope that it’s being about to let go and open up other possibilities with other people’s input in your life. I didn’t learn it until much later than 31 and it can be very stressful and people get the wrong idea about what your motivation is in situations.
Keep up that smile and drive. We’re enjoying the show from Lewiston.

We all know reality tv is edited to make the show more “interesting”. I have dealt with you in a business capacity several times, and have never known you to be anything other than respectful, considerate, polite and pleasant. The show has not changed my opinion of you. I hope you win!

After talking with Billy, I see how editing effected the way things looked.
He recognized one of the makeup people to be from Cd’A and told Robert to head over to her chair & she would do the best for him. As Robert is walking to that chair, Billy sets down in the next one. They just didn’t show all of the interaction.
I knew that was not the True Billy.
