Jeanne DePaul, the hardest working employee at the Lewiston Tribune, is a features section editor who also unjams the newsroom printer and instructs co-workers on how to save an e-mailed photo to the computer network. Her main jobs entail cheerily producing the Sunday AM lifestyles section, the Wednesday Close to Home food section, the Friday Arts & Entertainment section and coordinating stories for the
religion and agriculture pages.
Susan Engle is the Sunday editor for the Lewiston Tribune. Her duties include editing and designing the front page of the Sunday paper, Sunday business section and the Thursday Outdoors section; editing the Edge; and putting up with other editors who are seriously in need of a reality check.
Eric Barker is the outdoor and environmental reporter for the Lewiston Tribune. He writes news and feature stories for the Outdoors section that publishes on Thursdays and also covers breaking environmental stories that focus largely on the management of public lands and fish and wildlife.
Elaine Williams is the business reporter at the Lewiston Tribune. She writes stories for the Sunday Business Section and covers private employers in the region such as Potlatch Corp., ATK and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. Her beat also includes consumers issues and the finance of health care.
Kerri Sandaine is a Tribune reporter with a penchant for writing about people. She covers education and social services, and her blog is about life in general and the stories that don’t always make it into print.
Ryan Collingwood joins the Lewiston Tribune after previously covering prep and collegiate sports in northern Idaho, southern Oregon and eastern Idaho. He is covering high school football in the fall.
Jesse Baumgartner covers Vandal football for the Tribune. He joined the paper in August 2009 after graduating from the University of North Carolina.
Matt Baney is the Tribune’s sports editor as of August of 2009. He has covered a variety of beats at the Tribune since he was first hired as a part-timer in 1997.
Dale Grummert has been a Tribune sports writer since the beginning of time. His primary beats are Washington State University football, University of Idaho basketball and the area track and field scene.
