Though this mount hangs in his son’s home in Montana, Lewiston resident James Bigley owns the bragging rights. Bigley bagged this nontypical 8-by-5 buck in the Darby, Mont., area on Trapper Creek in 1967. He was hunting with his two sons, John and Kenneth, when he downed the buck with a .300 Winchester mag.
