Brag Description:

This white-faced ibis wades in Mann Lake near Lewiston. The white-faced ibis is the only ibis in the western United States. Although its numbers were once much diminished due to pesticides, it is now making a moderate comeback. This specimen was photographed May 1 at Mann Lake, the northernmost extent of its range.
