HARVARD - A lost hunter was found alive and well today after spending the night in the outdoors in Strychnine Creek drainage near Harvard.

Search and Rescue personnel located Charles Moody, 66, of Cottonwood around 11:50 a.m. today.

Moody was reported missing about 9 p.m. Thursday by his son Brennus Moody of Moscow. The two were hunting together when they separated around 4 p.m., said Lt. Brannon Jordan of the Latah County Sheriffs office.

A search began Thursday night but was called off because of darkness. The search, which included helicopters from the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Border Patrol, resumed at daylight.
