Sen. Barack Obama to visit Boise

BOISE -- Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois will visit Boise Saturday, Rep. John Rusche, D-Lewiston confirmed Monday evening.
Obama will be the first Democratic presidential candidate in the 2008 race to visit the Gem State. Republican presidential candidates, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former New York Mayor Rudolf Guiliani, campaigned in Idaho in 2007.
Obama is expected to make a swing through Western states that will hold their caucuses on Feb. 5, Rusche said.
