Highway 195 closed again

February 1, 2008, 8:13 am

Road closures continue to plague travelers in eastern Washington and northern Idaho.
The Washington Department of Transportation closed U.S. Highway 195 between the top of Lewiston Hill and Pullman shortly after 7 this morning. That road has been closed, off and on, much of the week because of drifting snow.
To the east of Kooskia, U.S. Highway 12 is closed from the Selway River Road to Montana because of severe winter conditions.
Both the University of Idaho and Washington State University campuses remain closed, as do all Palouse public schools. Grangeville schools also are closed.
