MOSCOW -- Timothy Andrew Kellis, 38, of Tumwater, Wash., pleaded innocent late Monday afternoon to 12 counts of alleged sexual misconduct with boys under the age of 16 last summer at the Camp Grizzly Boy Scout Camp in northern Latah County.
The counts, 10 for lewd conduct and two for sexual abuse of a child, are contained in an indictment handed down by a grand jury earlier in the day. A September 15 trail date was set by 2nd District Judge John R. Stegner.
Kellis remained in the Latah County Jail Monday night on a $100,000 bond. He is represented by Moscow attorney Sunil Ramalingam.
Latah County Deputy Prosecutor Michelle Evans said similar state charges against Kellis have been dropped because of the grand jury indictment.
