  I graduated from Genesee High School in 1948 and had Coach Hammond for our basketball coach two years and one year as our football coach. He was an excellent coach and was well liked by all of us. Our condolences to his wife and family.

  Gary taught our 8th grade class at Genesee (1946-47),his first class after college. He stayed with us through high school, coaching and teaching us. He brought the basketball team to a state championship in 1951 and was with us at our 50th reunion. He will be greatly missed.
