50th: Darrell and Gloria Jones

The Lewiston couple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday. They were married Dec. 27, 1969, in Lewiston and later were sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which they remain active members.

This union has brought together two families which include five children (Laura Lee, Deena Marie, Dallas Dwayne, Terri Lynn and Cristina Kay), 19 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren with two more on the way.

Darrell retired after 37 years working as a switchman for the Camas Prairie Railroad Co. Gloria has been a homemaker and stay-at-home mom.

Both enjoy spending time together and favorite activities in earlier years included traveling in their RV, boating and water skiing. They have many cherished memories of hunting camp with friends and family.

Darrell and Gloria will be spending the evening together at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, thanks to their wonderful children.

The couple wish to give thanks to all our family and friends for all the great memories.
