POMEROY - Jim Anderson & the Rebels will be give "A Tribute to the Early Years of Elvis Presley" during a dinner performance Saturday at Spinners Hall here.
Dinner will be served promptly at 6 p.m. followed by the performance at 8. The event is for those 21 and older only.
Cost for the show is $40, which includes a choice of chicken or ham, and one free drink.
The band will perform the popular music of the King of Rock 'n' Roll from the years 1954 to 1964.
According to a news release, the band has performed all over Northern California for two years and are now taking their show into Washington and Nevada. "Jim and the boys will take you back to a time when Elvis was considered to be too dangerous for America's youth," according to the release.
The concert comes nearly 36 years after Presley's death. He died Aug. 16, 1977, in Memphis.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Town & Country Restaurant in Pomeroy, which will help organizers plan the number of meals needed. Some tickets also will be available at the door. The restaurant is at 1794 Main St.

OROFINO - "Fiesta Del Sol" is the theme for the fourth annual Clearwater Memorial Public Library benefit to be held Saturday at the High Country Inn here. A Mexican dinner menu will be served and the inn will be decorated in the tradition of an outdoor cantina.
A no-host cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and will feature complimentary appetizers. Dinner will follow and the duo of Cathy Moore and Mike Riccomini will entertain with popular songs of the Southwest before dessert is served.
Drawings for prize baskets as well as three collections of books, including signed copies of Linwood Laughy's novel, "The Fifth Generation: A Nez Perce Tale" will be held following the entertainment.
Cost for the evening is $25 per person.
Money raised this year will go toward building a new entryway and front windows for the library, located on Michigan Avenue in Orofino. The Friends of the Library have raised more than $20,000 over the last four years for Orofino's library.

POTLATCH - The second "Evening at the Depot" concert will include classic rock by P.J. Destiny from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the WI&M Railway Depot here.
Dancing will be available either in the depot freight room or outdoors on the depot platforms. The event is for those 21 and older only.
The series is a fundraiser for the WI&M Ry. History Preservation Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and owner of the Potlatch Lumber Co. depot, which was built in 1906. The depot is at 185 Sixth St.
Tickets are available at US Bank in Potlatch or at the door for $10. Depot Dawgs (double smoked sausages) sales begin at 5 p.m., with beer and wine available for purchase at 6 p.m.
