PULLMAN Washington State University's spring Art a la Carte schedule will begin with a comparative look at depictions of Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales" through the years at 12:10 p.m. Thursday in the Compton Union Building Cascade Room 123.
Diana Archibald of the school's English Department will present five illustrators' interpretations of the tales, exposing the individuality of each artist and revealing something about the age in which each lived.
The programs are all free and held at the same time each Thursday through February in the Cascade Room 123.

Feb. 8 Al-Andalus of Portland, Ore., discussing "The Legacy of Andalusia."
