Northwest visual artists are invited to submit their work for the Dogwood Festival Juried Art Exhibition held by the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History in downtown Lewiston.
Artists may submit two- or three-dimensional works, including photography, for the exhibition. Artists who live in Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Montana are eligible.
This year two cash prizes will be awarded, $500 for first place and $250 for second place. All entries will be juried by a committee of four.
Deadline for submissions is Jan. 31. An entry fee of $20 is required. Each entrant may submit up to four slides of work for consideration.
Jury members are Julie Galloway, interim director of the University of Idaho Prichard Art Gallery in Moscow; Tim Doebler, instructor of sculpture at Washington State University; Ellen Vieth, a painter from Genesee; and Ivan Castaneda, art history and visual culture faculty member at the UI.
The awards judge is Tamara Helm, painter and adjunct faculty member at WSU.
