Premium Exploration

Not long ago Del Steiner, President and CEO of Premium Exploration said this to Idaho's Senate Resources and Environmental Committee:

"As an Orofino native and life-long Idahoan, I'm blessed to be overseeing a company that is employing hard-working folks in Idaho County and buying goods and services in Elk City, Grangeville and Lewiston and other communities. At Premium, gold-mining is certainly in our blood, but our driving passion is to further define this emerging gold district while providing more good-paying jobs and becoming a sustaining part of the the social and economic fabric of central Idaho. We think we can be good stewards of the environment and explore for mining purposes at the same time."

Steiner's statement was provided to the Tribune by Gallatin Public Affairs in Boise. So far my attempts to contact Steiner to find out more have not been successful.

Here's a little more from Premium Exploration's website:

"Premium Exploration is making gold discoveries exploring its district-scaled Idaho Gold Project along +30 km of the Orogrande Shear Zone (“OSZ”) in North-Central Idaho, USA. The Company’s goal is to discover and develop multiple gold deposits along its property. The Idaho Gold Project hosts three deposits and nine zones of mineralization along a 30 km structural trend, similar to many large gold belts such as the Carlin Trend in Nevada.

Midas Gold’s Golden Meadows Project is located approximately 90 km south along a large structural and geological trend coincident with Premium’s Idaho Gold Project. With growing resources and less than 1% of the 160km2 property explored to date, Premium is well positioned to create shareholder value through exploration and development of this emerging gold district."

When I learn more, you'll see something in the Tribune.
