The Clarkston couple will be honored at a private family gathering today. The occasion is their 40th anniversary.
He and Cheryl Hutton were married April 8, 1967, in Baker, Ore.
He retired from Inland Metals in Clarkston, where he worked for several years. She retired from Bashore Insurance in Clarkston.

They are both members of the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley's Finest '50s and '60s Chevy Club and enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family.
The couple have two daughters and four grandchildren.
Their family will be hosts for the event.
