Sara Jo Johnson will be honored at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at 2142 Carol Drive in Lewiston. The occasion is her 80th birthday.

She was born April 16, 1927, in the family home along the Red River to Clint and Mable Gibler. She has lived in the area her entire life.

She married Donald Johnson June 9, 1945, in Sheridan, Ore.

She had many occupations but most recently she owned and operated Hairway 21 in Lewiston.

She volunteers at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, is a member of the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce, Order of the Eastern Star, and was president of the Idaho Motel Association.

She enjoys playing bridge and painting.

She and her husband have two sons, one daughter, 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Her family will be hosts for the event.
