Lewis-Clark Toastmasters No. 369

At the club's July 28 meeting, Patti Mann served as toastmaster and timer.

Speaker was Kent Barnett with a speech titled "Sanctuary Cities."

Larry Ferguson was general evaluator, Bruce Neu was evaluator and grammarian, and Vic Racicot was table topics master.

Barnett was best speaker, Neu was best evaluator and Mann was best table topics speaker.

Twin Rivers Toastmasters No. 1426

Victor Racicot headed the club's meeting Tuesday as toastmaster.

Doug Crook's speech was titled "Relating a Truth of the Barbary War in American History" and he was evaluated by Mark Havens.

Diana Higgins' speech was titled "Research: A Retrospective" and she was evaluated by Bruce Neu.

Elizabeth Braker was table topics master and table topics was won by guest Will Wilson.

Good Sam Club, Seaport Sams Chapter

Members gathered July 19 at the Lewiston Elks for dinner and a meeting. There were 15 members present.

Reports were made on the July 11 to 15 campout in Dent Acres. There were 10 campers attending in five RVs.

The chapter will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 924 Linden in Lewiston. All proceeds will go to Dogs for the Deaf.

Joann Cowger won the 50/50 drawing.

The club's next meeting is 4:30 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Lewiston Elks.
