Nellie Swarthout of Lewiston will be honored at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. next Sunday in the dining room of the Royal Plaza Care Center in Lewiston.
She was born April 15, 1917, in Paisley, Ore., to Sadie and Bruce Parker.
She married Les Swarthout in 1945 at Coeur d'Alene, and they moved to this area in 1946.
She worked as a waitress, a grocery clerk and later as a ticket agent at the Raymond Hotel in Lewiston, when it was also a Greyhound Bus Depot.
She has been a member of the Rebekah Lodge for over 50 years and was a Rebekah Assembly president of Idaho from 1972 to 1973. She also is a member of Orchards Community Church in Lewiston.
In her younger years she enjoyed traveling and crocheting.
She has one daughter, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one daughter who died in 1973.
Her husband died in 1994.
Her family will be hosts for the event.
