OROFINO - The University of Idaho Clearwater County Extension Office will offer horticultural workshops this month to provide plant enthusiasts with knowledge and expertise to help them get started with the spring growing season.

The workshops will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the extension office, 2200 Michigan Ave. The next class, on Tuesday, will cover soils and fertilizers; the April 20 session will be on native plants and irrigation.

Cost is $5 for each session and registration is requested. Those interested can sign up by calling (208) 476-4434.
