Wedding vows were exchanged Dec. 30 by Brittany Oliver of Spokane and Mark Sawyer of Potlatch at Christ the Redeemer Church in Spokane. The Rev. Corey Laughary of Palouse officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is a substitute teacher for the Othello (Wash.) School District and her parents are Garry and Judy Oliver of Spokane. She graduated from Ferris High School at Spokane in 2002 and attends the University of Idaho at Moscow.

The bridegroom is an agriculture teacher and a Future Farmers of America advisor at Kahlotus (Wash.) Junior/Senior High School. His parents are John and Betty Sawyer of Potlatch. He graduated from Potlatch High School in 2001 and UI in 2005.

Kara Moser of Moscow was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Suzanne Holling of Cheney, Wash., sister of the bridegroom, Nicole Carlson of Hailey, Idaho, Sara Reith of Meridian, Idaho, and Sarah Allen of Bellevue, Idaho.

Andrew Sayers of Walla Walla was best man. Groomsmen were David Vowels and Joe Stander, both of Potlatch, Adam Stark of Kalispell, Mont., and Geno Bonnalie of Lewiston. Ushers were Andy Oliver of Spokane and Tom Oliver of Pasadena, Calif., brothers of the bride, and Nick Nicholson of Potlatch.

Sadie and Allison Lenssen, both of Pullman, were flower girls. Julie Kibler of Fort Worth, Texas, and Pattie Oliver of Pasadena, sisters of the bride, were candlelighters.

A reception was held at the Mukagawa Fort Wright reception hall in Spokane.

The couple are living in Kahlotus.
