COLFAX - The Colfax Library's story time is Thursday, with three sessions: Baby Time (ages 0-2), 10:10-10:30 a.m.; Toddler Time (ages 2-3), 10:30-11 a.m.; and Preschool Time (ages 4-5), 11-11:30 a.m.
Play & Learn, for caregivers and their children, meets from 10 to 11:30 a.m. each Friday. It will feature hands-on learning with exploring dinosaurs, puppets, dress-up, blocks, art and other large and small motor skill activities. Participants may come for the entire 90 minutes or anytime in between.

The Friends of the Whitman County Library is sponsoring a book sale blowout through the end of March at the Colfax branch. The sale will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
