Company officials said the expansion will create more jobs in the Burley community and give growers another option for their potatoes. The new production line is expected to open in late 2015, according to a story published Thursday by The Times-News.

The facility already employs 550 people in Burley, but company officials are uncertain how many new jobs will be created by the expansion. The plant, originally built in the 1960s, produces tater tots, hash browns, french fries, battered fries and Southern-style hash browns.
