POMEROY -- An 18-month-old girl and a woman from Pomeroy were injured in a collision about four miles west of Pomeroy Monday morning.

residence and condition were not available Monday. She is the niece of Heather M. Geiger, 24, who was treated for injuries at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and released Monday.

Geiger's 1996 Dodge Stratus stopped on U.S. Highway 12 just before noon, according to a state patrol press release. A 2001 Chevrolet Blazer collided with the Dodge from behind.Both vehicles were damaged beyond reasonable repair.

The Chevrolet driver, Michael D. Klann, 45, of Clovis, Calif., was not injured. All involved were wearing seat belts, according to WSP.
