CULDESAC - A Culdesac teen was injured Thursday morning when her car collided with another vehicle on U.S. Highway 95 near here, according to the Idaho State Police.
Savannah Wright, 17, was traveling north on the highway at approximately 10:30 a.m. when her 2010 Dodge Caliber collided with the back of a Ford F-250 van driven by Zachery J. Payton, 22, of Lewiston, according to a state police news release.
Payton, who was also traveling north, was stopped and waiting to turn left onto Old Winchester Grade when Wright, who did not see Payton's van, collided with the other vehicle, according to the state police.
The state police would not specify if Wright was transported to a hospital, but the Lewiston Fire Department said no one was taken by ambulance from the crash. Payton was not injured.
Both drivers wore seat belts, according to the news release.
