Evelyn Hu-DeHart, a professor of history and director of the Center for Studies on Ethnicity and Race in America, based in Boulder, Colo., will speak at Lewis-Clark State College Wednesday during a noon luncheon.
Her presentation ''Living and Learning in a Multi-Cultural World: Higher Education's Responsibility'' is part of faculty development scheduled this week. Faculty returned to the college Monday for a week of transition before classes begin Aug. 25.
Hu-DeHart will address the need for multicultural programs on college campuses.
She will speak at noon in the Clearwater/Snake River Rooms of the LCSC Williams Conference Center.
