SPOKANE - Police say a woman was shot and killed Monday morning outside an apartment complex in Spokane. Spokeswoman Monique Cotton said officers responding to a report of a gunshot about 4:30 a.m. found the body. She said investigators have no suspect or possible motive.

The area near Spokane Falls Community College is cordoned off, but people can go to and from the college and the apartment building.
