MOSCOW Daniel and Stacey Luman of Moscow and their three children were recently chosen from more than 25 applicants to receive the first Habitat for Humanity house to be built on the Palouse.
They will purchase the 1,000 square-foot home at cost, with no interest, and will also invest 400 hours of ''sweat equity'' into the home.
Construction of the home is scheduled to begin in September at Pullman.
Anyone interested in volunteering to help in constructing the house may contact Pam Peterson at 882-1349.
