A quick look at what’s going on in our region:

Downtown Tailgate kicks off in Lewiston

The second Downtown Tailgate is planned for 11 A.M. TO 4 P.M. TODAY at the parking lot near the Lewiston City Library and Lewiston Tribune. There will be local food, retail vendors, a cornhole tournament and a tailgate decorating contest. Games involving both Washington State and Idaho will be shown on televisions. There is no entry fee to the event, which is being planned by Beautiful Downtown Lewiston.

Classic rock band plays at Lewiston vineyard

Vintage Youth, a classic rock band, will play from 6-9 TONIGHT at Lindsay Creek Vineyards, 3107 Powers Ave., Lewiston. This is the last of the Summer Concert Series at the Vineyards, and it is free to attend. There will be wine slushies, creek bites, pizzas and more for purchase. Those who attend are asked to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
