Annual UI spaghetti dinner set in Lewiston

University of Idaho alumni and friends will hold the school's 33rd annual Spaghetti Dinner, with speeches by representatives from the university, beginning at 5:30 P.M. TODAY at Lindsay Creek Vineyards, 3107 Powers Ave., Lewiston. Tickets are $10, and $5 for kids younger than 10. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Student of Buddhism to speak in Moscow

Venerable Thubten Chordon, an author and student of Buddhism since 1975, will discuss "Cultivating Peace from the Inside Out" beginning at 12:30 P.M. TODAY in the Whitewater Room at the University of Idaho Commons, 875 Line St., Moscow. Admission is free.
