U.S. Constitution ceremony planned at Clarkston church

A ceremony in honor of the U.S. Constitution is planned for 1 P.M. TODAY at the Clarkston United Methodist Church, 1242 Highland Ave. Bells will be rung 13 times for the 13 original colonies. The community is invited to this event being planned by the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The ceremony is part of U.S. Constitution Week, which runs from today through Saturday.

Weekly health workshop starts Monday at TriState

Tri-State Wellness, in collaboration with WSU Asotin and Garfield County Master Gardeners, will start a weekly “Eat Healthy, Be Active” community workshops MONDAY at the TriState Health conference room, 1221 Highland Ave. The classes are planned for 12:30-2 p.m. MONDAYS through Oct. 16. There is no cost, but space is limited and those who want to take part are asked to RSVP, which can be done at bit.ly/44V6AMD or by calling (509) 751-0229.
