Latah Master Gardener class has room for 20

MOSCOW - the Latah County Extension Office is accepting 20 applicants for its Master Gardener class set to begin Thursday.

Classes will run from 9 a.m. to noon Thursdays from this week through May 7 in the kitchen of the Latah County Fairgrounds, 1021 Harold St. in Moscow.

The cost is $150 with a possible $100 year-end refund available. More information is available by contacting Rachel Rausch at (208) 883-2267.

Attorney to discuss Idaho public defender system

MOSCOW - A Moscow attorney will discuss "The Public Defender System in Idaho, Past, Present and Future" during a meeting Wednesday of the League of Women Voters of Moscow.

Ray Barker will lead the discussion from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Fiske Room of the 1912 Center, 412 E. Third St. The public is invited to attend.
