Lewiston police are investigating a stabbing after a 20-year-old woman was treated for a hand wound Saturday night.
Police responded to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at about 6 p.m., according to officer Chris Reese. They interviewed a woman who was treated and released for a stab wound to her hand.
The woman is homeless, but stays in Lewiston and Clarkston, Reese said.
Police are still trying to pin down the time and location of the attack, he said. The investigation has not yet pointed toward a suspect, though other interviews were conducted based on information from the victim.
No one has been detained in relation to the incident, Reese said.
