OROFINO - The Grangemont Road north of Orofino was blocked for about three hours Monday following a noninjury logging truck accident.
According to a news release from the Clearwater County Sheriff's Office, a loaded logging truck operated at 6:05 a.m. Monday by Richard P. Broneske, 55, of Lewiston, drove off the right shoulder of Grangemont Road at about milepost 21.
Broneske was wearing a seat belt, according to the sheriff's office, and was not injured. The road was icy and slick and speed may have been a factor in the accident.
The road's westbound lane of traffic was blocked for about three hours.
