She said deputies found the father dead from gunshot wounds when they arrived at the home Friday evening. Callers reported that the father and son had an argument and shots had been fired.

A woman and an 11-year-old boy were able to safely leave the home before deputies arrived.

Deputies found the son and an 18-year-old woman in the house and directed them outside. No one else was injured.

Gates said it's unclear what the two argued about.
