MOSCOW -- the Master Gardeners of Latah County will hold an "Open Garden with Art" from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Moscow Demonstration Garden, First and Washington streets here.

Several local artisans will have their outdoor visual accents on display in the garden.

Paul Wisdom of Deary, who donated the oriental style trellises at the opening of the garden as well as constructing the garden bulletin board, will display more of his artistic work.

Louise Colson of Viola will display her glass flowers and New Morning Glass, represented by Jack Doebler and Mary Kernan, will display some of its glass pavers and floats for gardens. There also will be a wood and metal sculpture by Jan Van Manen. Other artisans are being considered.

Refreshments will be served, and Master Gardeners as well as the artisans will be on hand to answer questions.

The Moscow Demonstration Garden is a joint effort by the Latah Master Gardeners of the University of Idaho Extension Service and the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute for the instruction and beautification of the community.
