The Nez Perce County Commission voted 2-0 Monday to vacate a portion of a platted cul-de-sac at the end of Flyby Drive in the Eagle Point Public Utility District.
It is not clear that the county has a legal interest in the portion of the road in question, so the county prosecutor's office recommended vacating it as a precaution. Commissioner Douglas Zenner was excused from the vote because he was not present at an earlier public hearing on the vacation.
Commissioners also authorized the auditor-recorder's office to destroy certain election records as allowed by law, and approved a change to the Board of Community Guardians' bylaws to describe a quorum as a simple majority of board members.
