MOSCOW - The installation of the bird feeder at Moscow's Good Samaritan Care Center was sponsored by a Moscow-based women's philanthropic group, Beta Sigma Phi, through the Idaho Fish and Game Department. A bird-feeding station will draw wild birds to within easy viewing distance.

UNIONTOWN - The town council has hired a part-time police officer, bought and equipped a squad car and established a municipal court. The town paid $5,800 for a 1992 squad car used by Pullman police.

JULIAETTA - The Juliaetta City Council has approved an extension to the completion date for the city's new water distribution system. The Ridge Co., contractor for the project, requested the extension because of delays in obtaining equipment for the pump house.

The Lewis-Clark State College Children's Touring Theater returned to the college campus after seven days on the road. The 16 cast members, all LCSC students, played to an audience of more than 500 at the LCSC auditorium.
