COLFAX — A person was taken to an area hospital Thursday after falling in an almost empty grain silo at the Spokane Seed Co., 1204 N. Clay St., Colfax.

According to Whitcom Emergency Dispatch, the incident occurred at around 8:20 a.m. inside a silo. It is unclear how far the person fell. No further information was available late Thursday evening.
