A march and rally celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act will be held Saturday in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley.
The march will begin at 10 a.m. in Clarkston at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers boat ramp at the west end of the Interstate Bridge. The north lane on the bridge will be closed to traffic from 10 to 11 a.m. to allow the estimated 100 participants to march across the bridge. The walk will continue down Lewiston's Main Street to Brackenbury Square.
Some 300 people are expected to attend the rally scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Brackenbury Square.
A proclamation ceremony will be conducted by Lewiston City Council members and Mayor Pro Tem Kevin Poole. Free food and drinks will be available and live entertainment will be provided by True North beginning at noon.
