Fire Calls

A 5-acre stubble fire started by a combine off of Rosencrantz Road Friday was controlled by farmers when officials from the Nez Perce County Fire Department arrived.

Crime Reports

A bike valued at $150 was reported stolen from a residence on the 1100 block of 11th Street in Clarkston.

A wallet with $206, a credit card and driver's license was reported stolen from a residence on the 300 block of Culdesac Avenue in Culdesac.

A backpack left outside of Zip Trip on the 1400 block of Main Street in Lewiston was reported stolen.

A resident reported he let a man who identified himself as an employee of Dish Network into his home but was told later the company did not have any employees in the area.
