Fire Calls
No serious damage was reported when rounds in a crimper machine reportedly exploded in a room at ATK on the 2200 block of Snake River Avenue Wednesday morning. A ceiling access panel was reportedly designed to blow off to ventilate and limit damage to the 4-foot by 6-foot, explosion-proof room used for the munitions process, according to the Lewiston Fire Department. No one was injured and no fire was discovered by Lewiston fire crews who responded at about 8:40 a.m.
Crime Reports
An 18-speed bike and a four-room tent with a total value of about $380 were reported stolen from the 900 block of 14th Street in Lewiston.
