Barbara Ann Byers, 50, Marshall, Texas, pleaded guilty to forgery, given a withheld judgment, and sentenced to 44 days in jail with credit for 44 days served, 30 days discretionary jail time, ordered to pay restitution of $10,900 and placed on probation for five years.

Dayne Paul Sells, 31, 1420 Fifth St., No. 4, Clarkston, pleaded guilty to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and one count of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, all felonies. Sentencing was continued for 60 days.
Fire Calls
Clarkston firefighters took an accidental shooting victim from the 1300 block of Bridge Street to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center at about 11:30 a.m. Friday. The man had a non-life-threatening wound to the fleshy part of the back of his knee from a .22-caliber pistol.

Two pairs of Oakley sunglasses valued at $300 were taken from a vehicle earlier this week. One was a gold Whisker model and the other black.
