Lewiston police responded around 11 p.m. Thursday to a report of a gunshot fired on the 400 block of Second Avenue in Lewiston.

One person reported a large group of people across the street, according to police. Police arrived on scene and found a shell casing and also reported hearing a second shot fired in the vicinity.

Police patrolled the area but were unable to locate any other witnesses or suspects. No injuries were reported.
