A motorcycle rider from Spokane was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a crash along U.S. Highway 12 near Orofino last weekend.

According to a news release from the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office, two motorcycles were involved in a crash near milepost 44.5 around midday Saturday. The rider who was injured, Aurelio P. Rios, was taken to Clearwater Valley Hospital via ambulance.

The crash is still under investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.
