BOISE - A crowd of 150 supporters who favor requiring an ultrasound be performed on women seeking an abortion rallied at the Idaho Capitol.
Monday's event on the steps was aimed at convincing lawmakers to resurrect the bill.
It was sidelined last week, on concerns in the House it was government overreach into the private lives of women.
Amendments are being considered, to help bring it back.
The bill has aroused fierce and even threatening rhetoric.
Right to Life of Idaho director Jason Herring, a supporter, said the sponsor, Sen. Chuck Winder, has received threats.
Winder declined to describe specifics, but said the messages he and family members have received are disconcerting.
