Several veterans groups are planning a Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony Saturday.

The Lewis-Clark Valley Veterans Council along with the Fleet Reserve Association Branch 63, Lewiston Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 10043 and other veterans groups will hold the ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Lewiston Southway boat ramp on Snake River Avenue.

The five known survivors of the Dec. 7, 1941, attack on Hawaii who lived in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley will be honored with a two-bell ceremony. The last surviving of the five, Don Irby, died in October. The other survivors were Floyd Johnson, Wallace W.R. Jacobs, Richard (Swede) Artley and Kenneth F. Walters.

Retired U.S. Navy Cmdr. Chuck Whitman will be the master of ceremonies.
