BILLINGS, Mont. - Yellowstone County officials have released the name of a Billings man who died in a weekend motorcycle crash south of the city.
The coroner's office said Merlin Boyer, 46, died of blunt force trauma in the crash Sunday afternoon.
The Montana Highway Patrol said Boyer's motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve on Blue Creek Road about 12 miles south of Billings. The bike landed in the grass and Boyer was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
