An array of events are taking place in the region this weekend with changing weather in the forecast.

The forecast for today is mostly sunny with a high temperature in the low 50s. Saturday is expected to be sunny with temperatures in the mid-60s, while Sunday is predicted to include a 40 percent to 50 percent chance of rain.

The annual KATW-FM Home and Garden Show at the Nez Perce County Fair Pavilion is this weekend.

The doors are open noon to 8 p.m. today, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $3 per person and coupons for $2 off are available at local businesses. Attendees can get $1 off by bringing a can of food. Food vendors will be on hand.

COLFAX - A teen dance to raise funds for Whitman County youth programs is set for tonight.

The event is from 8 to 11:30 p.m. at the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds. Cost is $5.

SATURDAY

The Lewis-Clark Tea Party Patriots will have a "Take Back America Rally" at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Asotin County Fairgrounds. The event marks the first anniversary of the group.

It's time to Refresh the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley Saturday.

In Clarkston the group will meet at 9 a.m. in Vernon Park, and in Lewiston the group will meet at 8 a.m. in Brackenbury Square. Food and beverages will be available at both locations for volunteers.

The 14th annual walk for multiple sclerosis will start at 10 a.m. at Swallows Park in Clarkston and participants can follow one of three routes.

A one-mile, two-mile or six-mile route is available to walk, with rest stops along the way.

OROFINO - The Idaho state championship Elk Calling Contest and the 10th annual Orofino Spring Roundup will be Saturday.

The roundup starts at 1 p.m. and the Elk Calling Contest is at 3 in Orofino City Park. There will also be a rib-eye steak dinner at 5 and an auction will follow. Dinner cost is $25/single, $45/couple, children $10, and younger than age 6 are free. Live entertainment will be provided throughout the day, as well as games. Admission cost for the Elk Calling Contest is $5. Tickets are available at the gate or by calling (208) 983-9267, (208) 476-5971 or (208) 476-7148.

PULLMAN - The annual Washington State University Mom's Weekend Brunch is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Great Hall at the Lewis Alumni Centre. The WSU Mom of the Year Award will be presented during the brunch. Tickets are available at the Women's Resource Center in Wilson Hall, Room 8.

PALOUSE - A fundraiser for the Palouse Community Center begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at the center.

There will be an auction, potato bar and bingo. The silent auction and potato bar begin at 5 and bingo is from 7 to 9 p.m. Bingo players younger than age 18 must be accompanied by a parent. Cost for the potato bar is $5 and cost for bingo is $1 per game.

PULLMAN - The 26th annual Winefest will have two sessions Saturday at the SEL Event Center here.

The first session is from 5 to 7 p.m. and the second is from 8 to 10 p.m. Cost of admission is $35 and includes a commemorative glass, 10 tasting tickets, food prepared by the School of Hospitality Business Management Catering, live music and a silent auction. Shuttle service is available at the Old Bookie and Zoe Cafe on Terrestrial View to and from the event center.
