SANDPOINT, Idaho - A 36-year-old northern Idaho woman convicted of embezzling from a Montana-based fuel distributor has been arrested for failing to serve her jail sentence.
The Bonner County Daily Bee reported Magistrate Judge Debra Heise on Tuesday ordered Nicole Love of Priest River held without bail pending an April 4 hearing.
Love pleaded guilty to grand theft for embezzling from CityServiceValcon in 2010 while she worked as assistant manager of the Oldtown branch.
District Judge Steve Verby sentenced Love in September to up to five years in prison but suspended all but 30 days. She was ordered to pay $25,000 in restitution.
Love was allowed to serve her jail time over a series of weekends because she had a newborn child with health issues, but Bonner County officials said she failed to report to jail.
